Dori Kimball has been a cornerstone of the Peter Bortnem State Farm office since 2015 and is often affectionately described as the glue that keeps everything running smoothly at the Cokato, Minnesota location. As Office Manager, Dori’s upbeat attitude and infectious sense of humor help create a welcoming environment for both customers and teammates. When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Dori doesn’t hesitate: “Our customers. I truly value and enjoy every one of them, and I’m dedicated to making sure their experience with their auto, home, and life insurance is not just positive—but fun, too. Who says talking to your insurance office can’t be enjoyable?”
A lifelong Cokato resident, Dori proudly graduated from DC High School — Go Chargers! She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN — Go Cobbers! Prior to joining the Peter Bortnem State Farm team, she gained valuable professional experience working with the Dassel‐Cokato Enterprise Dispatch.
Family and community play an important role in Dori’s life. Alongside her husband, Hal, she enjoys spending time with their extended family and staying actively involved with local Cokato organizations, including the Cokato Chamber of Commerce, the Cokato Corn Carnival, and the Cokato Historical Society. A longtime Rotarian, Dori has also served as past president, reflecting her commitment to supporting the community she calls home.
When it comes to sports, Dori playfully declines: “No thank you.” While her husband Hal cheers on St. Cloud State University hockey — Go Huskies! — Dori prefers theme parks, traveling, award shows, walking, or diving into a good Nintendo game instead. Sandra Dahl

Sandra “Sandy” Dahl has been an integral part of the Peter Bortnem State Farm team since February 2015, serving customers as a Personal Account Representative with care and dedication. When asked what she enjoys most about her work, Sandy’s answer is heartfelt and simple: “The relationships.” She combines her experience assisting with auto, home, life, and renters insurance with genuine compassion and attentive listening during every interaction. Sandy focuses on helping customers feel comfortable and informed, whether she’s walking through coverage options or simply being there to answer questions.
Originally from Golden Valley, Minnesota, Sandy grew up as one of eight siblings, developing an early appreciation for the outdoors. Some of her favorite childhood memories include Boundary Waters trips filled with hunting and fishing, visits to family in Alabama, and winters spent enjoying hockey and downhill skiing.
Family is at the center of Sandy’s life. She is a proud mother of eight and a grandmother to nineteen grandchildren. Sandy devoted many years to raising and educating her children while living on their hobby farm, where the family cared for a wide variety of animals. Her lifelong love of horses spans more than 40 years and includes showing, competing, training, and trail riding. She also volunteers with a youth group, sharing her passion and encouraging young people to experience the unique connection that comes from working with horses.

Ari Machain
Customer Service Representative

Ariana “Ari” Machain is a dedicated Customer Service Representative at the Peter Bortnem State Farm office in Cokato, Minnesota. Joining the team in early 2025, Ari quickly immersed herself in the insurance field, focusing on property and casualty coverage. She is continually expanding her knowledge and currently assists customers with auto and renters insurance while working toward additional experience with homeowners policies.
Before joining State Farm, Ari built a strong professional foundation in education, most notably as a Paraprofessional at Lake Ripley Elementary School in Litchfield, MN. In that role, she supported students in the classroom and provided translation services, highlighting her bilingual abilities in English and Spanish. Today, Ari continues to use those skills at the Cokato office, assisting Spanish‐speaking customers and helping ensure clear communication and a comfortable experience.
Ari approaches her role with curiosity and a team‐focused mindset. She enjoys collaborating with others, asking thoughtful questions, and creating a positive, supportive environment for both customers and fellow team members. Outside of work, Ari enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Ramzee, her family, and their pets. She is also learning Italian, with the goal of becoming trilingual in the future.

Morgan Wozniak

Morgan Wozniak is a Customer Service Representative who joined the Peter Bortnem State Farm team in Cokato during the summer of 2025. Born and raised in DC, Morgan is a proud graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato. She brings prior professional experience from roles as a bank teller and in patient accounting, giving her a strong background in customer service before beginning her career in insurance. Morgan is licensed in property and casualty insurance and assists customers with a range of coverage needs, including auto and homeowners insurance.
In her role, Morgan values being present and ready to help, supporting customers through both everyday moments and unexpected changes. She enjoys the variety of the insurance field and is motivated by opportunities to continue learning while assisting customers in a thoughtful and attentive way.
Outside of the office, Morgan enjoys reading, decorating, cooking, and baking. Family is especially important to her, as she is the only sister among four brothers and enjoys cheering them on in their sports and activities. Morgan is driven by the importance of family and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community she serves.
